Are you looking for a way to spread some holiday cheer and make a real difference in the lives of young carers in Dundee?
Well this is your chance as the Wish Tree will be making a welcome return this Christmas.
Dundee Carers Centre has once again partnered with Leisure and Culture Dundee’s Children’s Libraries Services and Waterstones Dundee to give local people an opportunity to provide books and other gifts for young carers during the festive season.
Starting from Thursday 16th November until Sunday 10th December, the Wish Tree will be on display at Waterstones Dundee. Each tag on the tree represents a young carer who is working with Dundee Carers Centre and customers can pick a tag and purchase a gift based on the information provided. The gift is then wrapped and given to the young carer in time for Christmas.
This year, the number of young carers in Dundee has increased dramatically, making the Wish Tree more important than ever before. It offers young carers a chance to take a break from their responsibilities, enjoy some relaxation time, and make their holiday season a little brighter.
Don’t miss your opportunity to contribute and spread some holiday joy to young carers in Dundee.
