Shared Care Scotland Carers Survey on Short Breaks and Respite

Shared Care Scotland have launched a Carers Survey which aims to gather unpaid carers insights and experiences of accessing and using short break services in Scotland.

Shared Care Scotland work to ensure carers and the people they care for have access to regular, meaningful breaks that work for them. With a new ‘right to a break’ in development, it has never been more important to put carers voices at the heart of decision-making.  Feedback from the survey will contribute to work on future policies, and on the proposed Right to A Break legislation.

The survey which consists mainly of multiple-choice questions should take no longer than 25 minutes to complete and is available online here.

The survey is open until 31 July 2024.

For further information on the survey, including their privacy policy and how they plan to use the results, please visit their Carers Survey webpage.
