At Carers of Dundee we align with Dundee Carers Centre’s culture of kindness and creativity which is at the heart of everything we do. As part of their values statement, we also believe everyone deserves to be treated with fairness and dignity and is supported to make a positive difference in their life.
With this in mind, we have made the difficult decision to disable the Carers of Dundee X account with immediate effect.
We have been monitoring X closely over the last few months and have been concerned about the direction the social media platform appears to be taking. We have a duty of care to our followers, staff and volunteers and will now focus on streamlining our online comms on platforms that we feel meet our values and are more impactful.
