We are excited to announce that Barnhill Primary School is the latest Carers Charter sign-up, pledging their support to unpaid carers in our community.
One of the ways they are supporting is with the launch of their Community Board, which features a dedicated section for young carers.
“We are signing up to the Young Carers Charter because we know some of our children help care for someone at home, and that can be a big responsibility. By committing to the charter, we are pledging to identify and support young carers, making sure they are valued and have the same chances to learn, achieve and enjoy school as everyone else.”
