The Scottish Government has launched a new online information resource for children, young people, parents, and carers, providing age-appropriate information about child protection processes.
They will be helpful for families who may become involved in child protection processes, and practitioners should help families, including young children, access them.
The online resource, called ‘Keeping Children Safe in Scotland’, is available at the following link where downloadable versions are also available for use offline.
- Home Page – Keeping Children Safe in Scotland
- Younger children – Younger Children | childprotection-resource-scotland.co.uk
- Young People – Young People | childprotection-resource-scotland.co.uk

Downloadable versions of the guides are also available to enable people to print off to read, including an animated story for younger children.
