The Fair Futures for Young Carers Mural was revealed in a special event this afternoon to mark the beginning of Young Carers Action Day celebrations.
Fiona Low, Education officer for Dundee City Council officially presented the mural along with members of Young Carers Voice, and the event was concluded by a short speech by Alan Baird, Convenor for the board of trustees, Dundee Carers Centre.
Young Carers Voice worked alongside local artist Diane Selbie, Scrapantics, and the Wellgate Centre Dundee to create a mural that celebrates Young Carers Action Day. The mural was launched by a special guest who cut the ribbon to mark the occasion.
The mural celebrates this year’s theme “A Fair Future for Young Carers”.
