Dundee Carers Advisory Group

The Dundee Carers Advisory Group is a lived experience group for unpaid carers from across Dundee.
The group plays a vital role in ensuring that the voices, experiences and insights of unpaid carers are at the heart of local planning, service development and strategic decision-making.

Working collaboratively with partners across health & social care and the third sector, members advise, inform and influence the design, delivery and improvement of policies, services and support for unpaid carers.

The group strengthens unpaid carer representation across Dundee by providing a direct link between unpaid carers and decision-makers. It creates meaningful opportunities for unpaid carers to contribute to discussions, influence priorities and help shape positive change.

By sharing lived experience, offering feedback and highlighting emerging issues, the group ensures that carers’ voices are heard and helps drive improvements that lead to better outcomes for unpaid carers across Dundee.

The next meeting will be held on:

  • Thursday 27th August
  • 1-2.30 pm
  • Dundee Carers Centre, 132-134 Seagate DD1 2HB
