We’re excited to announce that Carers Week 2025 will take place from 9th to 15th June, with this year’s theme: Caring About Equality.
Carers Week is a UK-wide awareness campaign that recognises the vital contribution unpaid carers make to families and communities. This year, we’re shining a spotlight on the inequalities carers face – in health, employment, education, and financial wellbeing – and calling for a fairer society where carers are recognised, supported, and valued.
Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing local events, groups, resources and information to raise awareness and bring carers and communities together.
Each day will focus on a different theme:
- Monday: Health and Social Care
- Tuesday: Financial Wellbeing
- Wednesday: Work and Employment
- Thursday: Younger Carers
- Friday: Older Carers
- Saturday: Mental Health and Wellbeing
- Sunday: Reflections on Carers Week
We invite everyone – carers, families, the workforce, employers, and the wider public – to get involved. Follow us on social media, share your stories, and help us spread the message using #CarersWeek2025 and #CaringAboutEquality.
