Dementia Carers Count are looking at carers’ rights and what carers would like the government to prioritise
Dementia Carers Count 2024 annual survey of dementia carers is now live this link will take you away from The Alliance website. If you provide help and support to a family member or friend with dementia, or have done in the past, they would love to hear from you.
What you share will help the team at Dementia Carers Count this link will take you away from The Alliance website to better understand the pressures on family carers, shape the services they provide and prioritise what they ask the government to address.
Last year,1,300 carers told Dementia Carers Count about their caring roles, what they found hard and what would make the most difference to them. The findings helped shape the ongoing development of their Carer Support Service which includes a free support line and online support groups for family dementia carers. The responses also informed the report Invisible this link will take you away from The Alliance website and our Dementia Carers Manifesto this link will take you away from The Alliance website, which was shared with all parliamentary candidates in the run up to the General Election.
This year, Dementia Carers Count are looking at carers’ rights and what carers would like the government to prioritise, to help shape their campaigning focus over the next year.
