Lifeline Group

Claire chats with Pauline, who is an unpaid carer and a member of the Lifeline Group at Dundee Carers Centre. They talk about how you can get involved and how the peer support from the group can help you in your caring journey.

The Lifeline Group aims to help people understand more about addictive behaviours, the impact of dependency and recovery and what you can do to help the person you look after. It can also give you the opportunity to share your story and have your voice heard. Caring for someone with a drug or alcohol dependency can be difficult and very challenging. You might not know where to turn to get advice, support or help and feel isolated and alone.

The group meet on the first Tuesday of each month, 1-3pm, at Dundee Carers Centre, Seagate, Dundee.  To reserve your spot for the next group please contact 01382 200422 or email [email protected]
