This year’s theme is “Fair Futures for Young Carers,” which was the theme for 2024. This decision was made as maintaining a comprehensive and consistent theme is more effective.
Following the success and positive feedback from last year’s event, we are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting two mornings for young carer groups from all schools in Dundee this year.
Each event will include a range of enjoyable activities and workshops tailored for young carers of all age groups.

Last year, we hosted two mornings that invited young carers from all schools in Dundee to Scrapantics in the Wellgate. In collaboration with various organisations and small businesses, we ran several fun activities and workshops, including:
– An art workshop with Scrapantics
– A worry workshop with Tayside School of Nursing
– A science workshop with Dundee & Angus College
– A virtual reality workshop with Dundee Libraries
– A beauty masterclass focused on young skin, led by Jordon Petrie Beauty
– An online safety workshop provided by The Corner, Dundee
Additionally, we set up a quiet area for young carers. We have created a slideshow that offers an overview of our activities celebrating last year.
