Local Support Over Christmas 2023

Spreading Festive Cheer through Support

The festive season is fast approaching, and amidst the celebrations, it’s crucial to extend our support to those who need it most.

With this in mind, we are bringing back our Local Support Over Christmas providing help, advice and information on support available throughout the festive break.

Local Support Over Christmas Online Resource Hub

This year we are excited to announce the launch of a new online resource hub alongside our video series.

The hub serves as an overview of local services’ opening hours throughout the holidays, general support if you need to talk to someone, plus advice on who to contact in an emergency or crisis.

The hub’s aim overall is to have access to the right information, when you need it most.

The launch of the video series and online resource hub highlights the importance of supporting unpaid carers, disabled people and families during the holidays.

Local Support Over Christmas Video Series

Alongside the online resource hub, we have created a video series online campaign tailored specifically for unpaid carers, disabled people, and families who face unique challenges.

The video series has been created in partnership with local services/organisations that provide information on opening hours throughout Christmas and information on additional support if required.

We will be posting these videos throughout December on our Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram and YouTube channels.

Local services and organisations! There is still time to be involved!
