At the upcoming gathering we are pleased to welcome the following presenters:

  • Gwen Davidson and Rebecca Adams from Macmillan Partnership projects will be presenting on the range of Macmillan community services available to anyone affected by cancer, including carers. They will be explaining what each service provides and how to make a referral
  • Neil Paterson from Dundee Library Service will be presenting on the different library outreach services available to anyone living in Dundee. This includes At Home and Mobile Library Services. He will also talk about the range of online services available to any registered Dundee Libraries member

There will also be an opportunity to find out more about the local Short Breaks Services Statement in Dundee. The statement was agreed at the Integration Joint Board on 18th December 2018 and has been published here as required by the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016. The statement is for Carers, Young Carers and Supported People. This session will provide an overview of the work that has went into developing the statement to meet statutory requirements of the Act.
