Harnessing Hope is an online skills workshop specifically designed to empower carers who are supporting a loved one – such as a parent, sibling, or close family member – aged 18 or older, who has been living with an eating disorder for more than five years and does not have a diagnosis or suspected ARFID.
Due to current Scottish Government funding, no referral is needed – carers can sign up directly!
Harnessing Hope is a five-week workshop delivered by an experienced eating disorder clinician. It provides carers with:
- Insights into the impact of long-term eating disorders.
- Practical tools and skills to better support their loved one’s recovery and maintain hope
- A supportive, collaborative learning environment.
Upcoming workshop: Wednesday evenings, 15th January – 12th February, 6:45pm – 9:15pm
We understand how challenging it can be for carers to navigate the complexities of supporting someone with a long-term eating disorder. Harnessing Hope provides invaluable knowledge, practical strategies, and a sense of community to help carers feel more confident and resilient in their role.
