Carers Week 2019 & Carers of Dundee Event
Monday, 10th June
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
We’re kicking off Carers Week by bringing together volunteers from the centre and the NHS to co-ordinate a clean-up of all old Dundee Carers Centre information, covering all wards, and replacing with new information. We will be offering a break out area for volunteers to enjoy some refreshments and creating a buzz in the main concourse. There will be competitions, glitter tattoos and we want to create a party atmosphere. This is a fun event for us to all come together and do something impactful and positive.
Tuesday, 11th June
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Staff and volunteers from the centre will be available at the main entrance providing shoppers with information on services available to unpaid carers, disabled people and their families.
Wednesday, 12th June
On Wednesday 12th June we’re excited to bring you a first glimpse of the Young Scot Young Carers Card which Joe Fitzpatrick will officially launch at Baldragon Academy. The card offers young carers in Scotland opportunities to benefit them in their caring role. Dundee is one of the two Councils to pilot this.
